Drum Clamps
Drum Clamp - Forklifts are really meant to store, move and lift items placed on pallets. For facilities that use drums, they usually require an attachment so as to deal with moving, storing and lifting them. There are some different attachments which a business could use for all of your drum lifting, moving, and storing requirements. These attachments are particularly used to handle drum containers - therefore there is no chance of damage to the product or drum container when they are lifted, stored or moved.
Drum Positioner And Grab
The drum positioner can be used in order to load and unload drums off of drum stands, vehicles and racks. These are existing in three or four tine models. This attachment is totally automatic, hence enabling the the one operating it to be able to operate all from the comfort of the forklift seat. Able to move large and extra large plastic drums, steel, its capacity is 210 liters. This accessory is utilized for drum pyramid stacking.

The Rotator
The drum rotator is one more forklift accessory that mounts onto the forks themselves. Their objective is to be able to lift the drum and rotate it upside down. The drum is clamped into the drum rotator with a clamp which fits around the center of the drum. The rotation is executed by either a continuous loop chain or a crank handle. The crank handle is intended for operations which take place below shoulder level. For operations that should occur above shoulder level, the continuous circle chain will be utilized.
The drum tines are carriage mounted or simple fork attachments. They are designed for stacking and unstacking 210-liter metal drums. Stacking requires nothing intricate, just easy horizontal placement of the drums. The carriage-mounted enhancements reduce the load center of the drums.
Automatic Tongs
Drum tongs come in semi-automatic and automatic models. They are used in the tight head or open topped steel drum kinds. The drum tongs could be connected in a couple of ways to the lift truck. One method is to connect them beneath a fork-mounted hook. Another way is to connect them to a carriage mounted jib or a fork-mounted jib. Either the automatic and semi-automatic have a drum capacity of 210 liters. With the automatic, there is no requirement for the person operating it to ever leave the seat of the lift truck.
Rim Grip Handler
Whenever drums require storage space with limited spacing obtainable, the Rim Grip Drum Handler is the perfect choice in drum forklift accessories. This accessory will work for either the two hundred ten liter drums along with one hundred twenty liter drums. The Rim Grip Handler functions by using steel jaws to hold the edge of the drum. It lifts the drum and puts it down without needing any space between the drums. The typical unit used in the industry is a zinc-plated handler, although, this particular accessory is accessible in stainless steel for the food and drink market.
